  • 3-3/4 cups of bread flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of milk
  • 1-1/2 tsp of active yeast

Start by combining the milk and water into a Pyrex measuring cup, and heat up until it reaches a temperature of 105 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.

This is important for activating the yeast.

Add the yeast to the warm liquid mixture, give it a good stir, and let it stand for 10 minutes. 

Next, whisk together the salt and flour in a large bowl (preferably in a stand mixer, but if you don’t have one, a regular large bowl will work too).

Stir in your yeast mixture and combine until a smooth dough has formed.

From there, transfer your dough to a lightly greased bowl and cover with a towel.

Let the dough stand until it’s doubled in size and then punch it back down. 

Then roll the dough into a loaf shape and transfer to a lightly greased bread pan.

Allow it to rise again, and preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Then bake your loaf for 40 to 45 minutes, or until brown on the top. Allow it to cool to room temperature, slice, and you’re ready to make a sandwich! 


Sugar-Free Banana Bread

For a sugar-free sweet treat, give this super-easy banana bread recipe a try! 


  • 5/8 of a cup of self-rising whole-meal flour
  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 3 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 of a cup of raisins
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1 tbsp whole milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 whole egg

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Then mix your flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and raisins in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients (milk, egg, vanilla, butter) using a fork or whisk—whatever works best for you.

Once thoroughly combined, add your wet ingredients to your flour mixture and combine until you have a nice and homogenous dough. You don’t want any flour clumps! 

Then simply add your dough mixture to a parchment-lined bread pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until it passes a toothpick test

Allow it to cool, slice, and enjoy! This banana bread is moist and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness. It’s perfect for breakfast, or as a snack throughout the day.


Sugar-Free Pumpkin Bread


  • 1 cup of pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1-1/2 cups of whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp of stevia sweetener (or to taste)

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, oil, eggs, and stevia until smooth.

Add in the flour, baking powder, and pumpkin pie spice. Combine until all ingredients are fully incorporated and you have a nice dough. 

Then simply add your dough to a greased bread pan, and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.

Allow it to cool completely before slicing and serving.
