How to Go Sugar-Free at Starbucks
Hot or Iced Teas You can order any variety of hot tea without any added sugar which is simple enough. If you are hankering for something sweet you can also request a few pumps of sugar-free flavored syrups.
You can specify what flavor of syrup you want or you can get some artificial sweeteners from the counter if you don’t want any flavoring to mess with the natural aroma of your teas.
The same goes for iced teas. Order your iced teas just like you would any other drink just tell them to make it sugar-free.
You can easily add sugar-free sweeteners afterward.
If you want a hint of flavor, go for the sugar-free syrups. Vanilla syrup is a popular flavored sugar-free option for cold or hot teas because it has a mild flavor that doesn’t easily overpower the natural aromas of fruit teas.
You can always opt for the classic sugar-free syrup which works perfectly with almost any kind of tea or coffee order.
Lattes Yes, it’s still possible to get your daily dose of Starbucks lattes even if you are cutting back on the sugar.
Simply ask for one pump of sugar-free cinnamon dolce syrup and you’ll still get that sweetness without packing on the calories.
Better yet, order any latte without sugar and enjoy it as is.
Also, opt for sugar-free syrups to further reduce your sugar intake.
Iced Coffees You can order your iced coffees without the sugar and simply add in sugar-free sweeteners by grabbing a packet or two from the counter.

Starbucks stocks up on Splenda and Equal sweeteners which are conveniently located in the straws and cups corner.
For a typical grande iced coffee 2 packets of sugar-free sweetener can give you that kick without the crash later on.
Specialty Drinks Yes, you can still order specialty drinks that are not on the menu and have them modified for your sugar-free or keto needs.
One tasty example is the Trenta iced coffee with heavy cream which you can order with a few pumps of sugar-free cinnamon dolce and sugar-free vanilla.
Another option is a sugar-free take on the London Fog Latte. It only contains 10 g of sugar, not bad for a Starbucks latte (but, it’s not sugar-free, folks).
You can ask your barista for one pump of vanilla syrup in a mix of Earl Grey tea and soy milk.
You can also order a glass of cold brew coffee which has less than 5 grams of calories and zero sugar.
Their cold brew coffees are known for their refreshing citrus notes and can be enjoyed with a splash of milk for a creamy but low sugar drink.
Starbucks 0 Sugar Options Starbucks may be most known for its sugary offerings but they also have numerous low or zero sugar options ready to order from the menu.
These include Caffe Misto which has a coffee and steamed milk concoction that doesn’t have any sugar added. Any hint of sweetness comes from the milk.
You can also opt for the jade citrus mint brewed tea which contains zero sugar and is one of the more aromatic drinks you can order with its mix of lemon verbena, lemongrass, and spearmint.
